The campaign Kickstarter for StarCraft Universe is now funded and concluded to a success. With the goal of $80,000, it has been over took by $84,918 by the help of 1,753 backers. That means the team has funds to release the public multiplayer tests.

For those who are confused and haven't keeping up yet, StarCraft Universe is mod of StarCraft II and it's not being made by Blizzard. The mod will bring a multiplayer online RPG that'll bring brand new stories and features from StarCraft II.


It is stated that the open beta along with the chapter will begin at late 2013 or early 2014. When the mod is released the production will carry out and looking out for their next goal adding out Zerg character and their target fund is $100,000. When the beta is out, player can access the game in Arcade on Battle.net. StarCraft Universe will be playable with starter accounts and free to play.
