Who's Going To Be The Best of The Best? League of Legends Season 3 World Championship Series.

One Stage, Fourteen Teams, Eleven Days, One Trophy and One Big Dream!

The League of Legends Season 3 World Championship Series is getting closer and closer to its conclusion. Riot Games announces earlier that the finals will be held at Staples Center, Los Angeles, October 4th. In addition to the finals, they have announced that there will be 10 additional days of games that will be held between September 15 and the day of the finals. Well, that's a great news for the League of Legends fans isn't it?

In total of 14 international teams that will be participating in the World Championship. Here are the regions that will compete in the World Championships:

  • North America - 3 Teams
  • Europe - 3 Teams
  • International Wildcard - 1 Team
  • Southeast Asia - 1 Team
  • Taiwan - 1 Team
  • Korea - 3 Teams
  • China - 2 Teams

Group Stage:


Bracket Stage:

The teams will play with a total of 40 games between September 15 to 21, with no more than 7 games each day. In group stage battles, 8 teams will survive to advance to the Quarter Finals on September 23 and 24, with best of 3 series. Then there will 4 winning teams that will be competing for the Semifinals at Galen Center, September 27 and 28, hosting best of 5 series each day. Then the most awaited World Championship that will be held at Staples Center on October 4 with best of five series.
