Lone Survivor: The Directors Cut is now available on PS3 and Vita, soon coming to PC


The pixelated indie horror Lone Survivor: The Directors Cut is now available on PlayStation 3 and Vita and has sold over 800,000 copies.

Here's Jasper Byrne, the creator of the game said in a post on his website,
"The game has been polished, fixed, tweaked and honed in hundreds of different ways. i spent weeks improving the look of the lighting, and even found and fixed bugs that the 800,000+ people who own the game had hadn’t yet reported!"
 Also, he promised that Lone Survivor Directors Cut is going to be available on PC whenever he get a chance to work on it.

GTA V iFruit Version 2.0 update fixes connectivity issues


Good news for iFruit GTA V apps users that are experiencing connectivity issues. Rockstar has released patch 2.0 for the app to fix the said issue.

"Addresses connectivity issues. Thank you for your patience and support," brief patch note from Rockstar iTunes page

For those who haven't tried iFruit yet, you can download it in Apple Store for free. iFruit allows you train up Chop, Franklin dog in GTA V. Also the other major feature of this app is the car customization, that allows you to log into the Los Santos Custom site. You can pimp Michael, Trevor and Franklin car. Once you are done and ready to log in back to the game, the mechanic will contact you that your vehicle is ready.

Generally this app is part of the Rockstar general strategy, designed for the users to enjoy the game even when they are away from their console.

Flashback remake is coming to PC


The remake of the classic side scrolling game from 1992 Flashback is coming to PC and will be available through Steam on October 1. It is now available for pre-order on Steam for $9.99.

Last month the new version of Flashback launched for Xbox 360 as a Summer Arcade game and will be coming to PS3 but the date is not yet confirmed. This remake is intended to update the classic 90's action-adventure game sadly the game received a negative reviews.

Way Forward's Kickstarter Campaign for Shantae Half Genie Hero is a Success


Way Forward Kickstarter campaign for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has reached its funding goal with 10 days left.

The orignal campaign goal of $400,000 was passed with the help of over 10,000 backers. There are stretch goals that added in the campaign for additional contents and more features, the first stretch campaign goal is $500,000 which will be Shantae's nemsis, Risky Boots.

With this overall effort Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will be released in many names of platform, Wii U, PS3, PS4, Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One and on Steam.

Treasurenauts rated by ESRB and coming in December


Last September 21, Renegade's Kid Jools Watham has twitted that their latest project Treasurenauts has been given an ESRB rating of E10+ and they are planning to release it this coming December on the 3DS eShop but the price has not been announced yet. There is also a possibility that Treasurenauts will be released on Wii U platform in the future.

Treasurenauts is a 2D platform collecting gems and with a feature of two player coop for single copy Download Play options. For those who are near LA and want to check out the game, Treasurenauts will be playable in the Nintendo booth next month during Indiecade.

Rayman Origins Goes FREE on PS Plus


Good news for PS Vita users! Rayman Origins Vita will be free to download starting September 24 on Play Station Plus, in addition for Instant Game Collections.

Also, in this week PS plus update will be including some discounts for a chosen games. Limbo (PS3 & PS Vita) will be on 20% off, from $14.99 to $11.99 and it is on cross-buy title. Another cross-buy title is Lone Survivor: Directors Cut (PS3 & PS Vita) that will be sale for $11.69 from $12.99. Worms: Revolution (PS3) will be 50% off sale, $14.99 to $7.49 and lastly Pinballistic: Alien Tycoon Bundle (PS3) will be sale for $3.99 from $4.99 while the add-ons Made of Money and Sector X each will be offered at $2.39.

Pokemon X and Y: Fossil Pokemon Revealed


In addition to a new pokemon database for pokemon X and Y, Pokemon Company revealed two fossil pokemon. Which will be called Tyrunt and Amaura and will evolve to a more powerful pokemon.

In tradition of course, just like any other pokemon game you can only choose one from two different fossils in every play through. So think carefully before you choose one.

The two fossils are called Jaw fossil and Sail fossil.

If you choose Jaw fossil, you will obtain Tyrunt a Rock/Dragon type pokemon which evolve into Tyrunt.

Tyrantum (evolution of Tyrunt)

And if you choose Sail fossil you will get Amaura a Rock/Ice type pokemon and will evolve into Auroros

The Rumored Stars for the Upcoming World of Warcraft Movie


According to the rumor from Deadline, that the lead stars of the upcoming movie of World of Warcraft is Colin Farrell and Paula Patton. Though there is a 50/50 chance that Farrell will take the lead role but he would certainly make an interesting choice for the said movie and as for Patton, the negotiations are still ongoing.

The filming is expected to start in January 2014, under Legendary Pictures and Atlas Entertainment and will be directed by Duncan Jones. The movie is said to be released in 2015.

Yet, it is still unknown for us for what character will they be playing, but what do you think? Will they be a great casts for this movie? Or will the movie exceeds our own expectations. Well, who knows. Just stay tuned for more news for this upcoming movie.

GTA V Sets A New Record Hitting $1 Billion in three days


If we all remember GTA V has been released last September 17, 2013 and after the release it earned $800 million in just one day!

Three days after hitting the market, Take Two Interactive reported that GTA V remarkably grossed $1 billion, making a history in world of entertainment. Even it surpasses the current record of Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 that earned $500 million in day one sale and its $1 billion mark hits in 15 day on sale last year.

Furthermore, Take Two Interactive also reported that GTA V beat the record of box-office hit films. The Avangers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows and Avatar that grossed $1 billion but it took 19 days to earned it.

Here's Strauss Zelnick the chairman and CEO of Take Two Interactive statement:
"Grand Theft Auto is a cultural phenomenon and Rockstar Games continues to redefine what can be achieved in interactive entertainment, we are incredibly proud of the extraordinary critical and commercial response to Grand Theft Auto 5."
The fact that the game has a high controversy of violence and crime, it achieved enormous success of achievements because the game offers tremendous numbers of ways to have fun.

Even more Rockstar will push out Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer mod of the game that launches this October, which may be able to help the game sales even reach a greater heights.

Deep Down will be free-to-play on PS4


Great news! During the Tokyo Game Show presentation, Capcom announced that Deep Down will be free to play on PS4. In addition, the president of Sony Shuhei Yoshida twitted that the Sony's next generation console of Play Station will be released in Japan on Feb. 22, 2014. Also he mentioned that Capcom's fantasy role playing is scheduled to arrived soon after the PS4 is launch, meaning that Deep Down will coming sometime in February 2014.

Capcom introduces Deep Down gameplay in public during TGS 2013. Deep Down is a dungeon sequel that will take place in New York circa 2094.
